L.E.X Care started the way a lot of good things do — out of necessity.

After giving birth, I watched my hair shed in the shower, on my pillow, in my hands, faster than I knew how to handle. Around the same time, I was also caring for children with eczema, trying every product on the shelf and finding most of them full of ingredients I couldn't pronounce — and that didn't seem to help anyway.

So I started making my own.

What began as small batches mixed at home for my own family has grown, over the past four years, into L.E.X Care — hair, skin, and beard products made the same way from day one: by hand, in small batches, with simple ingredients that actually do what they say. No fillers, no shortcuts, nothing we wouldn't use on our own kids or put in our own hair.

L.E.X stands for Luxurious. Essential. Xenodochial — a word that means warm and welcoming to strangers. That's still the whole point. Every bottle is made with the same care I was looking for four years ago, and every customer gets the same warmth I hope you'd give someone you love.
